Data retention
What we store about your API calls, for how long, and how to request deletion.
Retention periods

| Result archive | The full response of each search, available via GET /v1/searches/{id} and /dashboard/logs | 30 days |

| Cache | Search results and fetched pages, used for cache_first | Up to 1 hour |
After these periods, the data is deleted automatically.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your queries or results.
- We don't use your queries to build profiles of you.
- Pages fetched with
/v1/fetchare not stored in the result archive (content returned viainclude_contentis part of the search response and is archived with it for 30 days).
Requesting deletion
You can ask us to delete your call logs and result archive before the periods above expire. Email support@serphubapi.com from your account email with:
- what you want deleted (all calls, or a date range or call IDs), and
- whether you also want your account closed.
We'll confirm when it's done. Ledger entries are kept even after deletion, because we are required to keep financial records; they contain amounts and call IDs, not result content.
